burrowingowl2.jpg

This is a very nice burrowing owl cam located in Cape Coral, Florida.  Cape Coral has one of the largest nesting populations in the state of Florida and the city has a continued challenge to maintain enough living habitat for these little owls in the face of continued residential development.

This Burrowing Owl cam is open day and night and has streaming video.  In the day time it will be in color.  At night it is switched to infrared/night vision.  So, unlike many other animal cams, you can watch this one around the clock!  The entrance to the burrow is to the lower right of their perch.
