An Excellent Aquarium Cam

Wednesday, August 16th, 2006

anotherfishcam.jpg

Another excellent aquarium cam has been discovered, this one featuring high quality video with sound so you can hear the fish squeak.  Ok, there’s no sound and fish don’t squeak…I think.  Anyway, it has one cam where you watch from above the water and another to watch under water.  Wednesday nights are Disco fish nights!

Amazon River Cam

Saturday, June 10th, 2006

amazonrivercam.jpg

Live from the National Zoo, we present you with the Amazon River Cam. This is kind of a creepy web cam and may make you decide never to swim in the Amazon should you ever go for a visit.

Here you can see Arapaimas (one of the largest freshwater fish in the world) swim by, sometimes right by the camera - so close you can see their scales. Also see red tailed catfish, black pacus and other fish in this 27,000 aquarium.

This video feed requires Windows Media Player 9 or above available for download directly from Microsoft.
