whitealligator.jpg

A rare white alligator is now on exhibit at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, SC.  “Riverbanks’ alligator is no different than a normal American alligator with the exception that his skin is white. The white skin, in this case, is a result of being a leucistic alligator, a condition easily confused with being albino.”
This animal web cam is a streaming live and requires Windows Media Player available for download directly from Microsoft. It is viewable from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

No, you aren’t going to see gators eating egrets on this camera. Today is your lucky day as you get a two for one special! The main feature of this web camera is the alligators located in the Gatorland Alligator Breeding Marsh.

But wait - there’s more! You will also get to view the birds in the area, including egrets, herons, ibis and anhingas!

Still not enough to excite you? To top it off, this is another live, color controllable camera. Once again, you get to decide where to point it.
