Peregrine Falcon Nest Camera
For viewers on the other side of the globe, let me present you with a live color web camera with sound of the inside of a Peregrine Falcon nest. For everyone in North America, I’m not sure if it this camera will be viewable during our daylight hours or not.
Using the AltaVista’s Babel Fish translation tool, I’ve translated some of the web site. This camera comes to you from the Netherlands provided by Dutch telecommunication company KPN and internet provider Planet Internet. In February of 2005, KPN placed a “nest cupboard” on top of a tower 127 meters high.
There are two cameras to choose from. One camera looking inside the nest and another camera showing the outside of the nest - the “approach route”. Both cameras can be viewed simultaneously from their web site.
