This Kiwi cam is brought to you by the Smithsonian National Zoo and features Manaia, a North Island brown Kiwi - native to New Zealand. Manaia hatched a little over a year ago today on February 13, 2006. Since Kiwis are nocturnal, you probably will not see any activity on this cam until after 6 p.m. Eastern Time.
