The Alaska Sealife Center presents this Stellar Sea Lion cam that streams live from Chiswell Island in the Gulf of Alaska.  To give everyone a chance to watch the sea lions, viewing time is limited to 100 simultaneous connections.  This cam is active from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time. Osnabruck Zoo Sea Lion Cam

This Sea Lion Cam comes to you live from the Osnabruck Zoo in Germany and features Sea Lions swimming in their pool.  The zoo feeds the sea lions live at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time in Germany (which would be about 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time in the US).  This cam has streaming video and remote control so you can pan, tilt and zoom.  Watch the Sea Lion Cam in Germany.

Pier 39 Sea Lion Webcam in San Francisco, California

This is an AWESOME Sea Lion webcam and is comes to you live from San Francisco’s famous Pier 39.  These sea lions started taking over the docks in January 1990 shortly after the 1989 earthquake.  At first there were about 10 to 50 of them, but due to the abundent supply of fish and available dock space, the population grew to 300 in a few months.  In the winter, the population grows to around 900, most of which are male.  Prepare to be amazed as this cam has streaming video, sound and is in HD!  Watch the Sea Lion Web Cam at Pier 39.

Pittsburgh Zoo Sea Lion Cam

The Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) is native to Africa and are the cute little critters you may have seen standing up in large groups or on Animal Planet’s show Meerkat Manor.

The Hippopotamus is native to Africa and despite it’s cute appearance, can be a dangerous animal in the wild.

Some of these Hippo cams have streaming video, and others are still image cams that update every few seconds.

The Toledo Zoo is home to the nation’s first hippoquarium and features two live streaming web cams where you can see hippos! This is the only hippo cam I’ve found so far. There is an underwater camera and a cam that shows the top view.

Giraffe Cams at the Prague Zoo

If you are visiting Animal Cameras and you live somewhere around North or South America, or where it is now dark, these giraffes are awake and starting a new day at the Prague Zoo. The Tobe Zoological Park Giraffe Webcams

This park in Japan has a nice animal cam where you can see Giraffes, Zebras, Ostrich and other animals live.  This animal cam is active from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time in Japan, which is from about 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time in the U.S.  Watch the Tobe Zoological Park Animal Cam.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Giraffe Cam

Amersfort Zoo

Bristol Zoo Gorilla Webcams

This Gorilla webcam comes to you from the Bristol Zoo in the UK and gives you a live view of one of the massive enclosures at Bristol Zoo in one of the gorilla pens. The Shamu Killer Whale webcam is so peaceful, you’ll wish you could jump in for a swim. Or…maybe not? The name “Shamu” is actually a stage name shared by many adult killer whales at SeaWorld. The Shamu Cam is located at SeaWorld in San Diego, California and is live from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (Pacific Time) daily. At midnight the footage is replayed so you can see the previous day’s activities.

Hawaii Humpback Whale Webcam – This cam comes to you from Hawaii and features a live view from various beaches in Hawaii so you can hopefully spot whales on this cam. The cam is courtesy of the Jupiter Research Foundation which does whale research in Hawaii. They will soon be broadcasting live audio of the whale songs made by the humpback whales. Greenpeace Whale Watching Boat Cam – This is kind of a long shot, but whales have been sighted before on a web cam that is located on the Greenpeace boat Esperanza which is currently out to sea.  Keep an eye on this cam and who knows.. maybe you’ll be able to see humpback whales, dolphins and more!  This cam updates every 30 seconds.  Watch the Whale Cam on the Esperanza.

Woodland Park Zoo Live Grizzly Bear Webcam

This live streaming grizzly bear camera comes from the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA. There are two twelve year old male grizzly bears. The two bears are brothers and you can see them from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm (Pacific Time). They have a pretty large living area, so if you don’t see them right away, be patient and they should come into view.

Grouse Mountain Grizzly Bear Webcam

Race Rocks Seal Cam

Here’s an excellent streaming video cam for you to watch seals and other creatures in the water at the Rotterdam Zoo in Holland. This is also a remote control cam so you can pan, tilt and zoom. I was able to zoom in close enough to snap the pictures above. I give this animal cam two thumbs up. Año Nuevo State Park Elephant Seals

Hellabrunn Zoo Seal Cam

This animal cam comes to you live from the Hellabrunn Zoo in Germany and has three different animals that you can watch: Seals, Elephants and Chimpanzees. To change cams and view different animals, select the links on the lower left of the page.  You can also change the animal cam refresh rate directly under the cam. Indianapolis Zoo Walrus Cam

This Sea Lion and Walrus cam comes to you live from the Indianapolis Zoo in Indiana and gives you a streaming view of the Sea Lion exhibit at the zoo.  On this cam you can see four California Sea Lions, three Harbor Seals and one Grey Seal that lives at the zoo. NIE Seal Sanctuary Webcam

The Brooklyn Bunny Cam comes to you live from Brooklyn of course and features Roebling, a Dwarf Hotot rabbit.  Roebling was rescued by a veterinarian and is now safe and happy in his 1000 square foot bachelor bunny pad.  This bunny cam refreshes every 3 seconds.  Watch the Brooklyn Bunny Cam.

The Binky Bunny Rabbit Cam features two streaming rabbit cams where you can watch up to three adorable bunnies that have been rescued and are happily living in this cozy home. The rabbits include Jack (all white rabbit), Rucy (greyish rabbit) and Bailey (white and brown rabbit). Check their web site for detailed rabbit cam schedule.
